These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, and any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur.

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable Malaysian law, IOTA shall not be held liable for any changes in immigration policies, academic structures, or tuition fees imposed by Korean institutions, any delays, rejections, or outcomes relating to visa applications, admissions, or scholarships, or any personal loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from travel, health, accommodation, or other external arrangements. IOTA’s role is limited to academic delivery and pathway coordination and does not extend to guaranteeing outcomes managed by third parties.

By submitting personal information through K-Start channels, including website forms, WhatsApp, and email, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) for purposes including academic counselling, application processing, coordination with Korean partner institutions, visa documentation support, and pre-departure briefings. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time, and further details are available in the Privacy Policy.
6. Fees, Payments, and Refunds
Tuition fees for Year 1 (Malaysia) are payable to IOTA University College, while fees for Year 2–4 (South Korea), including tuition, accommodation, insurance, visa, and travel costs, are payable directly to the respective Korean institution or authorised service providers.
Refund policies are governed by the respective institution, and IOTA’s refund policy applies only to payments made directly to IOTA. All payments are strictly non-transferable between intakes or programmes unless otherwise approved in writing by IOTA.
5. Korean Partner Universities
The K-Start Programme collaborates exclusively with accredited South Korean institutions, each of which maintains its own independent policies relating to credit transfer, academic progression, graduation requirements, tuition fees, accommodation, insurance, student support services, Korean language proficiency requirements, and cultural integration programmes.
IOTA facilitates pathway coordination but does not exercise control over the operational or academic decisions of partner institutions, and students are responsible for reviewing and accepting the official terms and conditions of their chosen university.
4. Accuracy of Programme Information
While IOTA endeavours to ensure that all information relating to the K-Start Programme, including curriculum, tuition fees, intake dates, and partner institutions, is accurate at the time of publication, such information may be subject to change without prior notice. Applicants are strongly advised to verify all critical information directly with IOTA or the official websites of the respective Korean partner universities prior to making any decisions.

IOTA does not guarantee admission to Korean partner universities, visa approval, scholarships, or employment outcomes, and all final decisions are made by the respective institutions and relevant immigration authorities.
